There are different kinds of heart diseases in young children and babies. Congenital heart disease is one of them that develop even before the child is born. This includes heart abnormalities, such as the attendance of holes among the chambers, the combination of chambers, and the absence of a chamber or the matching of the arteries that hence prevent proper operating of the heart. After birth, innate heart illness might be apparent shortly but some are not discovered until very later.

Statistics explain that eight out of each one thousand child's are suffering from a innate heart illness, ranging from mild for severe cases. Sometimes, the probability of having a child by way of an inborn heart sickness cannot be assessed from any certainty.
